Paper Plate Lobster

Supplies

• Red paint or crayon
• Paintbrush
• Paper plate
• Safety scissors
• Hole punch
• Metal fasteners
• Glue
• Googly eyes
• Red pipe cleaner
• Template

Directions

1. Paint or color the front and back of a paper plate.
2. Once the plate is dry, with the help of a grown-up Sprout, cut the plate into three sections, following the template.
3. Punch holes at the bottom of the claws, the top of each arm and two holes at the top of the head.
4. Use metal fasteners to attach the claws to the lobster’s body.
5. Weave a pipe cleaner through the holes in the head to create antennae.
6. Add googly eyes and give your lobster a seafaring name!
