Circus Treats In The Round Craft

Propelling this bright little felt kite by hand will Sprout preschoolers’ little imaginations to a high-flying fantasyland!

Supplies

  • Clear tape
  • Heavy white paper
  • Markers or crayons
  • Munchy snacks!
  • Printable cup cover- full color | black and white
  • Scissors
  • 9 oz. cups

Instructions

  1. Start by printing out a big top coloring sheet either in full color or black and white for each guest on heavy paper.
  2. Cut out Big Tops and color as desired.
  3. Lay a cup on its side, and tape one end of the paper to the cup. Roll the cup to cover it with the paper, adjusting the top paper height to the rim of the cup.
  4. Tape together at the end and carefully trim the edges at both top and bottom.
  5. Fill cups (be sure that the ink on the paper isn’t high enough to touch the food in the cup) and display like a parade of circusy snacks!

(Tip: You can fill cups with small age appropriate toys and wrap with clear cellophane and ribbon to create a take home party favor or  use as a party activity, for guests to color and tape onto their very own snack cups!)
