Paper Flower Hand Prints

Make a beautiful bouquet of flowers to share with your mom on Mother's Day!

Materials
 Construction paper
Pencil
Safety scissors
Drinking straws
Tape
Stapler
 
Instructions

  1. Trace your hand on a piece of construction paper using the color you wish your flower to be, and have a grown-up help you cut out the hand.
  2. Curl each finger around a pencil, making sure that every finger is going in the same direction.
  3. Have a grown up help you roll the palm of the hand print into a cone so that all the fingers face outward like flower petals and tape it to together.
  4. Tape or staple the cone to the top of a drinking straw.
  5. Cut flower leaves out of green construction paper and tape or staple them to the straw.
  6. Make as many flowers as you like and give the bouquet to your mom as a special Mother’s Day gift!
