Created in Iceland by Magnus Scheving, a professional athlete and aerobic champion, LazyTown is set in a strange and wonderful village caught in the struggle between energetic, healthful activity and junk-food-fed sloth. Characters include eight-year-old Stephanie, a health-conscious superhero named Sportacus, and Robbie Rotten, the evil genius who likes to lounge around eating sweets. While the adults of LazyTown love inactivity, the kids are full of pep. Sportacus, shows them how great being active can be. A mix of live-action, puppets and computer-generated animation, LazyTown is dedicated to encouraging physical activity and healthy lifestyles for kids.
