TEIRON, 10

Who are your heroes? "My heroes are my mother and father. They are there when I need help. I know they'll always be there for me."

Teiron has fun in his neighborhood, Harlem, where he plays basketball with his friends. Teiron wants to become a teacher and a basketball player when he grows up.

RAKEISHA, 11

What do you like to do for fun?

"I like to sing gospel music at home and at church. I also like to sing hip hop music."

Rakeisha loves her neighborhood because there's a playground where she and her brother can play. She likes to play basketball and go to holiday parties at the Milbank Center.

MICHEDA, 10
What do you want to be when you grow up?

"I want to play basketball just like my hero Lisa Leslie. To become a basketball player I'll have to get a good education and get a scholarship so I can go to a good college."

Micheda loves to swim and play basketball. In the summer, she likes to go on vacations with her family.
