Get ready to meet some cool kids! Read about their heroes, their dreams and what they do for fun! Check back soon to meet other kids.
Here's what Jaha, Gaishamar, Craig and other kids from The Children's Aid Society Dunlevy Milbank Center in Harlem in New York City had to say. The Dunlevy Milbank Center is a place where kids like you go after school to have fun.
JAHA, 8

Who are your heroes?

"My heroes are Martin Luther King Jr. and Muhammad Ali. They stood up for people and what they believed in."

For fun, Jaha plays musical instruments. He loves to play African music on his drums. He's played drums for over two years now. He also plays the violin.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

"I want to be a teacher and be nice to kids. I'll have parties for kids that are good."

Gaishamar likes to play tag and hide-and-go-seek with her friends. She also likes to read, and right now she's reading a book about a family of pioneers that move to the West to start a new life.

GAISHAMAR, 10
CRAIG, 8

What is your favorite subject in school?

"I like language arts, writing essays, drawing and science. I like to write stories about my friends and doing things with my friends."

Craig likes to play football, basketball and baseball with kids in his neighborhood. At the Milbank Center, he likes to make things during arts and crafts class. But his favorite activity is going on the Internet during computer classes.
