Show 1: Season Four is Canceled

Just after crowning Jay Grand Champion at the end of Season 3, Ruff received a fax saying he'd been fired. He then read in the paper that the TV station had just been bought by Harriet Hackensack, a rich Australian woman who hated dogs. Ruff figured if he could get to Australia and change Harriet's mind about dogs, he could get his job back.

Chet then had the brilliant idea to turn Ruff's doghouse into a cooking oil-powered aquatic green machine shaped like a chicken! They set out for Australia, and despite a few setbacks (and Ruffman relatives) along the way, they reached their destination.

Once they found Harriet's hotel, Blossom discovered the reason Harriet hated dogs: her favorite childhood sled (named Rosebud) was stolen by a dog! To prove that dogs could be honorable, Ruff entered the World Luge Championships on a brand new sled, named the Rosebud II. He came in last, but he still made dog history as part of the first all-canine luge team. The plan worked – Harriet was touched by Ruff's performance on the sled!

In the end, it turned out Harriet wasn't the one who told Ruff he was fired to begin with – that was all a trick by Spot Spotnick. But regardless, Ruff knew he had his job back! He had a whole new season of Fetch to plan and 6 new Fetchers to meet!
