Ruff wanted to find the Lost Helmet of Victory in order to beat all the cat shows in the ratings. But Chet discovered that Ruff's person had plans to build a fence to keep him in. If Ruff was stuck in the yard, how could he find the helmet?
So he sent Bethany and Talia to learn everything they could about fencing. At the hardware store, they collected all the supplies they would need to build a fence. But suddenly, Blossom changed the challenge and sent them to a fencing academy to learn about the other kind of fencing the sport where you attack, retreat, and lunge. Then they had a duel on behalf of Team Ruff and Team Blossom, and Talia claimed victory!
Meanwhile, Isaac and Liza went to learn how to jump over fences by pole-vaulting. They met Nate Ball the host of the engineering game show Design Squad who told them about converting kinetic energy (movement) to potential energy (height). They practiced pole vaulting and then drew a graph of the vaulter's speed vs. height. Finally they showed Ruff how he could pole vault over a fence with ease.
Sterling and Brian stayed back in Studio G and played the Halftime Quiz Show which earned them each 35 points.
Once everyone got back to the Studio, it was time for the Triumph Tally:
Isaac and Liza scored:
Giving them a total of 80 points!
Bethany and Talia scored:
Giving Bethany 60 points and Talia 80 points!
BUT: "Is that all the points a dog can give?"
Isaac earned 5 bonus points for having grace and panache even while crashing into a fence. With 85 points, Isaac was the daily winner, earning himself a signed poster of Nate!
