Show 5: Ruff's Just Fueling Around

While giving a demonstration of the effects of global warming, Ruff accidentally locked himself to Blossom, and Chet accidentally threw away the key.

Ruff and Blossom challenged all six FETCHERs to go on a 50-mile race to see who could emit the least C02. Brian, Liza, and Talia were on Team BLT, while Isaac, Bethany, and Sterling were on Team IBS. Along the way the teams found pizza boxes with puzzles in them. If they answered puzzles correctly, they were allowed to take greener forms of transportation. If they didn't figure out the puzzle in time, they had to ride in gas-guzzling vehicles – not good for the environment. The kids took hybrid cars, pedicabs, scooters, sailboats, and a limo and finally ended up at an amusement park! Too bad team IBS lost the challenge and couldn't ride on the cool rides.

Then it was back to Studio G for the Triumph Tally, where Ruff and Blossom were still locked together.

Isaac, Bethany, and Sterling scored:

• 62.5 points: for taking green transportation

Brian, Liza, and Talia scored:

• 75 points: for taking green transportation
• -10 points: for enjoying the gas-guzzling limo too much

Giving them a total of 65 points!

BUT: "Is that all the points a dog can give?"

Liza won 5 bonus points for looking a worm right in the face (even though worms don't have faces). As the daily winner, the first part of her prize was an ice cream party for her and all the FETCHERs! But there was more – the second part was her very own carbon-neutral (hand-powered) ice cream maker!
