Ruff had always been proud of his dog-ploma from Dogwarts obedience school, but he just found out they might take it away! Apparently he never mailed his final term paper (on Bouncy-ball-ology) to Professor Fange, and since Chet ruined the only copy he had, Ruff had to rewrite it.
To get help with his research, he sent Sterling and Brian out to play basketball, but not just regular basketball wheelchair basketball! First they learned about air pressure, which is important for both the wheelchair tires and the basketballs. The boys tested their tires and balls with different amounts of pressure and then they played a great game of wheelchair basketball.
Meanwhile, Isaac and Talia went out to conduct some research of their own to find out which breed of dog is the smartest. They met 11 different dogs and put a sheet over each one. The dogs that could get out from under the sheet fastest were the smartest. Then they did a memory test to see which dogs could remember where a treat was hidden. In the end, the Border Collie was crowned the Smartest Breed of Dog!
Back at Studio G, Liza and Bethany earned 40 points in the Halftime Quiz Show!
Once their research was done, the FETCHers met back at the studio for the Triumph Tally:
Brian and Sterling scored:
Isaac and Talia scored:
BUT: "Is that all the points a dog can give?"
Sterling got 10 more points for nailing the winning shot for his team. That made him the daily winner with 85 points and got him a prize: his very own copy of "Ruff Ruffman's Encyclopedia of Dog Breeds."
