What I enjoy most about skating is the feeling I get when I am on the ice gliding, jumping and being in the air throughout my program. I enjoy this when I feel that I am able to be creative and free during my practice sessions, and most of all during important competitions. I enjoy performing in front of spectators and judges to perform the best I can during these events.
My parents placed me on an outdoor pond in Vancouver during a very cold winter when I was 4 years old and I remember loving it. I remember skating with my brothers, who were playing hockey. After this time my parents put me in Can Skate lessons, where I kept on practicing to higher levels.
I would like to do the very best that I can because I like to compete to make me a better athlete. I also believe that trying to improve your skills in any sport creates character and discipline as a person while I am growing up.
I would like to qualify and compete in the Winter Olympics, Senior Canadians and the World Championships someday very soon. I would also like to become a figure skating coach later when I am older and finished competing.
Try your hardest to become your best by practicing and working hard, and be the best that you can be as a person and, most of all, have fun.
