What I enjoy most about mountaineering is getting to the top of a big peak and looking way down into the valley.
What attracted me to mountaineering in the first place was knowing that I was comfortable with my climbing ability and I was ready to step up to a new challenge.
What motivates me to keep trying harder in climbing is knowing that there are bigger, more challenging mountains out there that are waiting to be climbed.
Within the next five years I look forward to being able to get my climbing instructor’s card so I can help younger kids with their climbing skills.
The advice that I would give to a kid trying to climb a mountain is to understand that getting to the top isn't the most important thing. It's the fact that you tried your best!
