The CCS Junior High Teachers
Joshua, 13 of Cala

The CCS junior high teachers Mrs. Barbara Moldavon, Mr. Roman Del Pozo, Ms.
Mitchell, and Mr. Long Pham are the greatest teachers in the world. They teach
with a lot of enthusiasm, excitement, and are fun. Each one of these teachers
have their own special ways teaching us.
Mrs. Moldavon, our language arts teacher, teaches us everything we need to know
so that we can do well in high school. She always contributes to the classroom
and never asks us to do something that she can not do. She is very fun and makes
sure that everyone in her class succeeds into accomplishing all of our S.L.E.
(School-wide Learning Expectations) The school S.L.E is the following: Integrated
Individuals, Responsible Citizens, Effective Communicator, Faithful Christians,
and a Life Long Learner. She pushes everyone in the classroom so that he/she can
go to his/her first choice for high school. She does everything she can so that
we can have the best time in school but also, learn what she has planned for us.
Mr. D., the junior high advanced math teacher, makes math fun and easy to learn.
He has a unique way of quieting down the class. Whenever the class gets too loud,
he continues his lesson, and everybody in the room just starts to quiet down and
listens to what he is saying. He answers all of our questions and makes sure
that we know all of the objectives we need to know for that lesson. If the
students behave well enough, at the end of every chapter, he separates the class
into four different teams and leads us into playing math games. If he is in a
happy mood, he gives a small bit of extra credit points on the test for the
winning team.
Ms. Mitchell, the science teacher, teaches us things that are two grades above
our level. Right now, the students do not like her because she pushes us really
hard but, later on we will be thanking for what she has taught us. Ms. Mitchell
loves giving us group work and labs. Ms. Mitchell always tries to find extra
time so that we can learn more about science. Sometimes, when she is not
finished teaching us about the lesson, she goes overtime and uses the other
teacher's time without knowing it. She likes making the quizzes confusing so
that we can do well on the tests. The students love her evil laugh and and her
action of rubbing her chin every time she thinks.
Mr. Pham, our social studies and religion teacher, is a young man that is very
fun and humorous. He likes to fool around a bit but always gets the schedule he
planned for us done. He likes to go over the lesson over and over again so that
we can do well on the tests. He is very cool and fun to talk to. Whenever we are
done with our lesson, he tells us a comical story of himself when he was young,
but always seems to embarrass himself. It's funny and all of his students enjoys
them. He likes to give us extra credit projects and likes to show us boring
videos of the lesson. (Don't tell him I said that.) Regardless he is just a fun,
cool teacher.
All the teachers in CCS are the best teachers in the world, and everyone in the
school are lucky to have them. We just don't seem to notice it until we go to
high school. Anyways, God Bless CCS.

On February 17, Penske racing Number 12 driver Ryan Newman became the 1st Penske driver to go to Victory Lane in the 50th running of the Daytona 500. 2008 also marks NASCAR's 60 anniversary & 10th year of Dale Earnhardt's win in the Daytona 500.
On a Saturday night at Daytona, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. in his new 88 National Guard Impala SS Hendrick Motorsports won his 2nd Budweiser Shootout since he'd had some victories at Daytona.
On Monday in Fontana, California, Carl Edwards went to Victory Lane in the rain-delayed Auto Club 500 at Auto Club Speedway.
In other news, the NASCAR drivers are at Las Vegas practicing for the UAW-Dodge 400 in which Jimmie Johnson might make his 4th victory at Las Vegas.

Hundreds people in Tupelo, Mississippi celebrated 50 years of
fashion at the Ebony Fashion Show. They showed fashion from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and even some from the 21st century. People raved over the favorites- the light pink and the tiger-striped swimsuits. Only eleven models
showed 200 fashions from French, Canadian, and many more designers at
the Bancorp South arena. The largest traveling fashion hopes to come back in 2010.

My friends, Ana Faith with her Webkin, Cheers and Madison with
her Webkin, Cocoa have had great love for their Webkinz. I have been
bringing my Webkinz over to my church so they can play with Cheers. I
have learned that lots of girls are fans of Webkinz but, don't bring
them to church. Back at school, I talk to Madison at lunch. We wanted to meet in Webkinz World but, unfortunately if we can't get in contact because I forget to give her my phone number!
