Summer reading programs at local libraries in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania are becoming a hit. That's because they now have a program for adults!

A local librarian said, "If kids have a summer reading program, adults should have one, too!" The news spred all over Lancaster. "Summer reading programs should be for adults, not just kids!"

"They should have a family reading program where kids and parents read together to earn points for family things," one parent said.

So that is how summer reading programs started. A lot of people seemed to be thrilled!
