Pembroke Elementary had a school spelling bee. A lot of people came to see children spell words and a lot of students wanted to win. The students names and ages were Amy 12, Peter 9, Lizze 11, Chad 10, Carlisha 12, Jessica 14, and the champion spelling bee winner since she was 8, Gabriella, now she's 13.

All of the kids were nervous but Gabriella wasn't. The first person up was Jessica. The announcer said your word is 'Administrative.' Jessica opened her mouth and tried to spell it. This is how she spelled it ADIVERSTARIVIE. The announcer said, "I'm sorry that's incorrect." Jessica ran out crying. Next was Chad, who is a very good speller. "Ok," said the announcer, "your word is ACADEMY." Chad spelled it correctly. After Chad came Peter. This went on until there were only two students left.

It was the final round. The announcer said, "Lizze and Gabriella can you please step up. Your word is 'Community,' Lizze you go first." Lizze spelled the word correctly and Gabriella spelled it wrong. The announcer said, "I'm about to announce the winner. Lizze is the winner!" Lizze shouted, "YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!" "You are the worlds greatest spelling bee champion," Gabriella said. A reporters asked Lizze how did it feel to be the world's greatest speller? Lizze said, "It feels great."
