How I Raise Money for the Children's Hospital
by Megan, Age 7, of Ohio

I help the Children's Hospital because I care about all the people who are sick and have diseases. Also, because I like how Children's Hospital is a good citizen. The Children's Hospital is always helping children and their families. I raised money by making bookmarks, collecting Teddy Bears at my birthday, and by making treat bags full of goodies for the sick kids.

I became a Change Bandit to raise money for the Children's Hospital. I decided to make bookmarks because of a story that my school gave out when I was in JA (Junior Achievement). This gave me an idea because I saw a girl in the story had made lots of money from the bookmarks.

I made bookmarks that had pumpkins on them for Halloween. I also Made bookmars with turkeys on them for Thanskgiving. And the biggest seller was a book mark that said "Have a Heart" with hearts hand drawn.

My book marks raised over $500.00 for Children's Hospital "Have a Heart Do Your Part." It made me feel happy, proud and good about my work.
