How You Can Help Save Dogs

My dog was from the animal shelter. She was shabby, but we fixed her up. She was a mutt and can't be taught very many tricks but I'm glad we got her. Otherwise, she would probably not be alive as I write this.

If you are looking to buy a dog, please get one from a shelter. It only costs about one hundred dollars to get its shots and get it spayed or neutered. You do not have to pay for the dog. Another way you can help save dogs and puppies is to donate lots of money to a no-kill animal shelter. At this type of shelter, they do not kill the dogs, but they depend on the money that is donated and made when they sell the shots and surgery for the dogs there. Me and my sister are always raising money to put in our can of money for the no-kill dog shelters. You can sell lemonade on the street to get some money for the dogs.

You can also set aside some of your allowance every time you get it and donate it and tell your siblings, friends, and parents to feel free to put some money in your can or whatever you're using for the funds. Also tell them what you're raising money for. If you or any of your friends are getting a dog soon, tell them to get one from the shelter. In fact, tell everyone you know. Soon, this place will be better and the whole world can help try to save dogs together.
