A Day In The Life
Native American Boy b) Yes
These were just a few of the different types of games enjoyed by Sioux children. The sleds were used to race down the icy prairie slopes during the winter, and almost every young boy and girl knew how to ride a horse by the time they were five years old. You would also have learned how to use natural objects to make toys for yourself and your friends. Still, there were other things you needed to learn.

What kinds of things would you have learned in school?

a) Reading, writing, arithmetic, and spelling.

b) Manners, needlework, drawing, and music.

c) How to make arrows, hunt, and track animals.

d) Nothing, you wouldn’t go to school.
