Are you ready to take action in your community? Are there people in your town or school who don’t have the same opportunities or rights as others? Think about how you might help:

—Are there shelters in your area for people who need help finding clothes or food? Organize a food and clothing drive in your school with a collection point for donations. You could even collect toys and books for kids who may not have any.

—Do all kids in your town have access to the same computers and tools for helping them in school? Find out what’s available at your public library or community center. You could volunteer as a tutor to help younger kids learn how to read and write.

—Find out who makes the decisions for your town. Are those people looking out for everyone’s rights? If you have a concern, write them a letter to let them know.
