My friends and I started a program called Pennies for Pal at our school. What we do is use the money that the students donated at our school to buy teddy bear. We give these teddy bears to our local fire department. The firefighters give these stuffed animals to children who houses had burnt down in a fire. Or children who have to go in an ambulace.
