What you need for this ZOOMdo:
  • scissors
  • tape
  • photos
  • cardboard
  • construction paper
  • and anything else you can think of!

What you do for this ZOOMdo:

  1. Dioramas aren't just for school projects, and you don't have to use a shoebox to make them either. A diorama is a great way to remember something that happened in your life. Instead of making a photo album you can use some pictures to make a whole scene!
  2. To make your own, start by deciding on a theme for your diorama and what pictures you want to include.
  3. Then you need to find a box or find an area that you can use to set the scene.
  4. Now decide what objects you want to put in your diorama and how to arrange them. Maya made a diorama about a trip to the mall. Mike made one out of his favorite memories from when he was little. He used a plastic strawberry basket, felt, and small toys to make a playpen, and put some baby pictures in the playpen.

  5. You can display your diorama in your room, or give it to someone as a present!
  6. Here are some of the dioramas the other ZOOMers made:

    Cara's Diorama Francesco's Diorama

    Kortney's Diorama Kyle's Diorama
