24
Sent in by: Alexis of Avilla, IN

You could play this game 24/7.

To play, you'll need, index cards with sets of 4 numbers written on them, pencils, and paper.

Here are some sample sets of numbers to start with: (1,2,3,4) (4,5,6,2) (6,1,2,2) (3,8,3,2) (2,10,2,1) (8,7,5,4) (10,15,4,2) (1,2,12,24)

The object of the game is to use all four numbers on the card and have it come out to 24.

You can use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, whatever works. Just make sure you use all four numbers.

For example, if you're using (5,6,7,1), 5x6=30, -7=23, +1= 24!

If you play in teams of two, race to see who gets the answer right first.

The winners of the first and second round play against each other next.

Keep playing rounds until there is one winner left.

Can you think of more sets of numbers that could make 24?
