I know that the wheight on the end doesn't change the speed of the pendulum, but the lenght of the string does! If the string is shorter, then the pendulum moves faster. I also learned that if you keep a long pendulum moveing for a really long time, that after a while, if you started out swinging it horizontally, it'll wind up swinging vericly! My brother and I did it a little differently we put down colored paper and then did it, when we were cleaning up my brother started to write his name and stuff and on the colored paper it looked kinda cool!
