SETTING: A futuristic space room setting. Caroline is setting up food - floating green alien snacks - for reunion party.
Caroline:
I can't wait to see all of the ZOOMers! This is going to be some reunion. I wonder how they've all changed?
(Bell rings.) (Aline and Kortney enter through an automatic door that whooshes open. They pose.)
Aline:
Whatz-up?
Kortney:
Whatz-up?
Caroline:
Whatz-up!
(They all laugh, hug, etc.)
Kortney:
Oh, Caroline, it's been so long since we all ZOOMed together.
Caroline:
It's great to see you both. Help yourself to some Znacks.
Aline:
Wow! You've been "cooking up a storm"!
Kortney:
So, how have you been, girl? "We need to be informed."
Caroline:
Oh, it's just like the good old days!
(Bell rings.) (They go over to one of the floating snack bowls, chatting. Mike enters through whooshing door with a cane.)
Mike:
Hey everyone!
All:
Mike!
Mike:
Whatcha doin'?
All:
Sittin' on a red bench.
Mike:
Can I join?
All:
Sure!
(They all laugh, hug, etc. as he enters the room.)
Caroline:
So Mike, what have you been doing?
Mike:
(Swings his cane as if to swing a golf club.) I took up golf.
Kortney:
Uh-oh, Mike, Fannee Doolee doesn't like golf. But she does like football.
(They all laugh.)
Mike:
Football, at my age?
Caroline:
Here, have some Znacks!
Mike:
Look, they're flinking!
(Bell rings.) (Estuardo and Garrett enter through swoosh doors.)
Estuardo:
(In Ubbi Dubbi.) Greeting friends!
Garrett:
(In Ubbi Dubbi.) Hello ZOOMers!
All:
Garrett! Estuardo! So glad to see you! How ya doing?
Aline:
Garrett, I see you still have your full head of hair.
Garrett:
You know it. It's my pride and joy.
Estuardo:
Hey guys, what's a hink pink for lunar music?
Kortney:
Hmm... I give up.
Estuardo & Garrett:
Moon tune!
Kortney:
Oh man...
(Bell rings.) (Shing Ying shwishes through doors.)
Shing Ying:
Yo, dudes!
All:
Shing Ying! Hey! Great to see you.
Shing Ying:
Sorry I'm late, but my space ship broke down on my way here.
Garrett:
You aren't still driving that old ZOOM-Into-Action rocket, are you?
Shing Ying:
Of course! It's a classic!
Caroline:
It's great to see you guys. Alright, everyone, make yourselves at home. Have some flinking Znacks, some yummy cafes are in the oven, and later, we can play some fun old games! Just like old times!
Aline:
Gosh, Caroline. I don't know how you do it!
Caroline:
Do what?
Caroline:
What do you mean?
Aline:
How do you remember all the stuff we did on the show? It seems like it's been at least a millennium!
Mike:
Hey, Aline?
Aline:
Yeah, Mike?
Mike:

Aline:

Caroline:
Aline, I'm still on the show.
(They all crack up laughing, doubled over joke-style. Then Spacey Music starts playing and the ZOOMers get down.) |
