Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, friends in high school, went on to become the most successful folk-rock duo of the 1960s, best know for their poetic lyrics and melodic harmonies. Their album, Bookends, released in 1968, featured the hit song "Mrs. Robinson" which was also used in the soundtrack of one the best films of the 60s, The Graduate, starring Dustin Hoffman.
