suits on multiple occasions.
Twiggy
Born Lesley Hornby in Neasden, a suburb of London, she was nicknamed
Twiggy because of her skinny boyish body. By the time she was
16, Twiggy became the world's first supermodel. In 1966, Britain's
Daily Express nominated Twiggy "face of the year." Twiggy
made the "skinny look" fashionable, and young girls
everywhere wanted to skinny like Twiggy and went on crash diets.
Twiggy herself said she ate like a horse.
