"I think smoking is bad for you health."
--Angela, 10
"I hate smoking, and I hate cigarette smoke. My friend's mom smokes and I hang around her mom most of the time. If someone pressured me too smoke for coolness, I would say, 'No thanks' or 'I don't feel like getting high right now.' Most teenagers want to do it cause they think it makes them cool and responsible but is doesn't! Yes, it is their life, and if they want to smoke they may, but you take a dramatic step over a ledge if you do start to smoke. If you take one puff, you're addicted. People can smoke, but the only time smokers get in trouble is if they sell it to other people. (Haven't you ever seen that stuff on T. V??) My Great Great grandmother died of lung cancer. I miss her greatly. She died before I was born. I'd let people smoke, but they are killing themselves, without knowing it."
--Ruby, 13
