ANDREA TOMPKINS
Producer


Involvement in cutting-edge children's television programming is nothing new for Andrea Tompkins. Her previous work as associate producer on PorchLight's Adventures from The Book of Virtues broke the mold of a typical children's series. Not only was Adventures the first ever primetime animated series in the history of PBS, it also dealt with the sensitive subject of character education and virtues.. Prior to joining PorchLight, Tompkins was associate producer at KCET / Los Angeles (PBS) on the highly acclaimed preschool series, Puzzle Place. The program was the first preschool series to address subject matter such as multi-culturalism and the importance of diversity.

DOUGLAS RASK
Producer


The late Douglas Rask was a pioneer in the use of performance animation. In 1995, his Craftsman Productions used the revolutionary technology to create Top Cat Interviews, a celebrity interview program for Hanna-Barbera's international division. Rask went on to developed Virtual Set technology for ABC's One Saturday Morning. The multi-talented Rask also performed with opera companies throughout the country, as well as acted on stage and in television and movies.

FRED SCHAEFER
Co-Producer


Schaefer heads animation development for PorchLight Entertainment. His work includes story editing credits on Adventures from the Book of Virtues, and other series. Prior to joining PorchLight, he was a creative executive at Disney Television Animation.

HUGH MARTIN
Director


A five-time Emmy nominee and three-time Cable Ace Award Winner, Hugh Martin is recognized as one of the top directors in children's programming. His impressive body of work includes the popular series Where In the World Is Carmen San Diego?, Puzzle Place, Reading Rainbow and Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. An experienced writer, Martin also created and produced Ramona, an award-winning, ten part, half-hour dramatic series drawn from stories by Beverly Cleary. Martin is based in New York.
