What would it be like to be a boy in the Sioux nation? You would have moved from place to place with your family and your village as you followed the buffalo herds across the Great Plains. The Sioux traveled across the plains on foot or on horseback.. The horses pulled a travois, which was a transport made of two short poles attached crossways to two longer poles. On the travois were placed the familys belongings, and sometimes small children.
What kind of shelter would you live in?
