A Day In The Life
Upperclass Girl b) Yes
Children of the upper classes were not expected to help with housework. There were servants of all kinds who helped them dress, brushed their hair, cooked their meals, washed and ironed their clothes, and even helped them take a bath! Such children had plenty of time to play.

What kinds of games would you and your siblings and friends have played?

a) Playing games like, “Follow My Leader,” “Throwing It In,” and a stick game with mud.

b) Roller skating, lawn tennis, and bicycling.

c) Hide-and-seek, croquet, stick ball.

d) Wrestling, jumping rope, telling scary stories.
