A Day In The Life
Upperclass Girl b) Yes
Do these sound familiar? These were all very new and popular pastimes with children during this period. Although some of the toys may have changed, roller blades, for instance, have replaced roller skates, and mountain bikes have supplanted old-fashioned bicycles, they still mean fun. But like most children daily life also meant going to school.

What was your school day like?

a) Listening to your "second" mother and father teach you about life.

b) Reciting the alphabet, writing on a slate board, helping the teacher build a fire.

c) You did not go to school.

d) Working with a tutor on your lessons.
