The Man and the Farmer

CAST:
Dog
Farmer
Man
PROPS/COSTUMES:
Rake;sandwich;juice box;Costumes: Farmer - straw hat, overalls, and bandana. Dog - floppy ears, tail, and face paint.

SETTING: A farm.

(Dog sneaks up behind Man eating his lunch. Man puts down his sandwich to take a sip of his drink and Dog steals the sandwich.)

Man:
Hey gimme back my sandwich! Stop! Come back here!

(Man starts chasing Dog. He comes to a fork in the road and Farmer raking his garden.)

Man:
Did a dog with a sandwich run by here a little bit ago?

Farmer:
Why yes he did!

Man:
Which way did he go?

Farmer:
Left.

Man:
Left? He went left?

Farmer:
Right.

Man:
Wait, he went right?

Farmer:
No, he went left.

Man:
O.K. So he went left?

Farmer:
Right!

Man:
(Very confused and impatient.)

What? You just said he went left! Did he go right!!!!!!????

Farmer:
Wrong, he went left!

Man:
OK! So he went left?!

Farmer:
Right.

Man:
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! NEVER MIND! Jeeesh, you think ya know a guy!

(Man storms off. Farmer smiles and goes back to work. Dog comes on stage, eating the sandwich, smiling and barking.)
