This looks like a good place to sit!
(Shing Ying sits on an imaginary bench and continues to blow bubbles. ) (Garrett approaches drinking loudly through a straw.)
Garrett:
Whatcha doin'?
Shing Ying:
Sitting on a red bench.
Garrett:
Can I join you?
Shing Ying:
Sure.
(Garrett sits as Shing Ying scooches over. For sitting, just squat as if you were sitting on the bench.) (Aline enters with an imaginary parrot on her shoulder.)
Aline:
(To bird.) You're such a good birdie, Crackers!
(To ZOOMers.) Oh! Whatcha doin'?
All On Bench:
Sitting on a red bench.
Crackers:
Red bench, red bench!
Aline:
Can I join you?
All On Bench:
Sure.
(Aline sits. Her parrot squawks. ) (Estuardo rolls up on an imaginary scooter. The scooter has a bell on the handlebars, and he rings it.)
Estuardo:
Whatcha doin'?
All On Bench:
Sitting on a red bench.
Estuardo:
Can I join you?
All On Bench:
Sure.
(Estuardo sits down on the bench, folds up his imaginary scooter, and rolls it away. Shing Ying, Garrett, and Aline watch the scooter zoom by. ) (Kortney enters, dancing the Charleston.)
Kortney:

All On Bench:
Sitting on a red bench.
Kortney:

All On Bench:

(Kortney sits on bench. ) (Mike enters, playing an imaginary trombone.)

All On Bench:

(Mike sits on bench. ) (Caroline enters.)

All On Bench:

(All On Bench scooch over to make room for Caroline in the middle.) (Caroline sits on the red bench and falls backwards. After Caroline's fall, All On Bench smoosh back together while still sitting.) (Caroline gives "the look" to the audience.) |
