(Mad Hatter, March Hare, and Dormouse are sitting at a long table set for a tea party.)

Mad Hatter:
It's time to change places! Change, change, change, change!

(Mad Hatter, March Hare, Dormouse change places at the table. Dormouse ends up at the end of the table.)

(Alice enters the tea party.)

Alice:
What is this? A table set out for tea? This must be a tea party. They look friendly, I'm so hungry, maybe I can join them.

(Alice goes to sit down.)

Mad Hatter:
No room, no room!

Alice:
There's plenty of room.

(Alice sits.)

Mad Hatter:
I vote the young lady tells us a story.

Alice:
I'm afraid I don't know any.

Mad Hatter:
Perhaps the Cheshire Cat will.

(Cheshire Cat appears.)

Cheshire Cat :
I'd rather not.

Alice:
This place keeps getting curiouser and curiouser.

Mad Hatter:
I don't suppose you know the song "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Bat, how I wonder what you're at...?"

Dormouse:
(Muttering in his sleep.)

Twinkle, twinkle, twinkle, twinkle....

Alice:
I've heard something like it...

Mad Hatter:
It goes on you know..."Up above the world you fly, like a tea tray in the sky."

Dormouse:
(Cutting off the Mad Hatter, singing loudly in his sleep.)

Twinkle, twinkle, twinkle, twinkle...

March Hare:
(To Dormouse.)

Stop it.

(To Alice.)

Sing it for us Alice.

Alice:
(Alice sings a prim and proper version.)

Alright. Twinkle, twinkle little bat
How I wonder what you're at
Up above the world you fly
Like a tea tray in the sky.
Twinkle, twinkle little bat
How I wonder what you're at.

March Hare and Mad Hatter:
No, no, that's not how it goes. Oh, Cheshire Cat...

Cheshire Cat:
It goes like this.

(Boy Band moves into place. The order is Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, March Hare.)

(Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, and March Hare do a boy band version of the song.)

Twinkle, twinkle little bat
How I wonder what you're at
Up above the world you fly
Like a tea tray in the sky.
Twinkle, twinkle little bat
How I wonder what you're at.

March Hare and Mad Hatter:
That's right! Yeah! Very good job!

(Dormouse wakes up, yawning.)

Dormouse:
No, it goes like this.

(Dormouse does a call and response rap version.)

Bounce with me now! Clap with me now!

Dormouse:

All:

(Queen of Hearts storms in as Dormouse finishes. White Rabbit trails behind and goes behind the table.)

Queen of Hearts:
Ahem!

(The tea party cowers. Cheshire Cat disappears.)

Do I hear "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Bat?" You never get it right. You're murdering the time! This is how it goes.

(Queen of Hearts walks between two ornate columns and sings a diva version. They all get swept up in the performance.)

Twinkle, twinkle little bat
How I wonder what you're at
Up above the world you fly
Like a tea tray in the sky.
Twinkle, twinkle little bat
How I wonder what you're at.

All:
Wonderful! Beautiful!

White Rabbit:
(Snapping out of the performance. Looks at watch.)

We're late, we're late for a very important date!

(White Rabbit grabs Alice and runs out.)

Queen of Hearts:
Is that Alice? Off with her head!

(Queen storms off.)

Mad Hatter and March Hare:
It's time to change places!

(March Hare, Mad Hatter, and Dormouse switch seats at the table as Cheshire Cat watches from the tree.)
