Playing sports should always be fun (even if it's hard work sometimes). So you definitely do not want to get injured or harm your body. This is where the common sense comes in!

Water
DRINK WATER: Drink water before the game, during every break, and after the game. (You can drink sports drinks or juice, but water is the best). Your body needs lots of water to run smoothly, just like a car needs gas to run.

Overheated
DON'T GET OVERHEATED: A car can't run when it gets too hot, neither can your body. You can avoid heat exhaustion or heat stroke (a really dangerous condition) by drinking lots of water, staying in the shade as much as possible, and splashing cool water on your face.

Hurt
WARM UP FIRST: (See the warm up page). If you start playing a game without warming up first, you could hurt yourself.
