What does "Jakers!" mean?
"Jakers!" is based on an Irish expression and means "wow!" or "amazing!" - Piggley, Dannan, and Ferny use it to express their delight when they discover something on their adventures.Why does the animation look so different than most kid's shows?
The series is produced with state-of-the-art computer generated imaging (CGI), primarily used only in feature films, which allows life-like 3D characters to perform in richly colored, lush backgrounds and provides a level of acting, timing and sophistication rarely seen in children's programming. However, the Piggley Winks costume character is scheduled for appearances at a variety of events, including the Mills Mall PBS KIDS kiosk grand openings and the 77th annual Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
