Sesame Street is an educational program for pre-schoolers, designed to help children make a successful transition from home to school. Every segment is written with a specific learning goal, teaching basic cognitive and social skills. The series' curriculum has become more complex over the years in response to changes in the world and the growing sophistication of children in the TV era.
