Global Concert Tackles Global Warming
Do you think music can save the world? A massive musical event is going to try. It's called Live Earth and it's spreading the message about global warming to 2 billion people. 150 musicians are going to play for a full day in places all around the world. The concerts take place on July 7th and last for 24 hours.
In Germany, Chris Cornell and Snoop Dogg will perform. Madonna will sing in London, England along with other famous bands like The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Macy Gray will be in Brazil for the concert there.
The organizers of Live Earth are hoping that we'll all learn ways that we can save the environment. When everyone does little things to help, the benefits can really add up. For example, if every household used more efficient light bulbs, together we would make a huge difference.
If we can all enjoy music together, maybe we can work together to save our planet. Live Earth thinks so. What do you think?
